The Nomad Guest House was opened in 2008. It offers luxury accommodation at a fraction of 5 Star Hotel prices.The Guest House is located on the airport side of Muscat in Athaiba. It is only a 15 minutes drive from the airport and a 15 minutes walk to the beach. It is near to the Chedi Hotel in North Ghubra.

There are six well appointed double rooms and one family room with bunk beds. All rooms have mini bar coffee/tea making facilities and free to air satellite TV.

The Guest House is very spacious and beautifully furnished. It is laid out to create a comfortable and friendly atmosphere where fellow Nomad travelers can swap stories of the day's adventures and plan for tomorrow's.

Nearby are a range of activities within a 5 min drive including Water Sports at the Aviation Club, Snorkeling trips to the Damaniyat Islands and Kite surfing on the Athaiba beach.

Self catering facilities are available to all our guests and the successful anglers will be keen to know that outside on the patio area is a large gas fired B-B-Q. We just ask our guests to please keep the self catering areas clean and tidy.

The Guest House operates a strict no smoking policy within the guest house itself.


 
 
 
From Dubai

Drive past the airport. You will see a large interchange and the airport is on your left hand side.

Keep going straight. Turn off at the next roundabout and take the 3rd exit ( in effect you are turning left ).

Go to the next roundabout and take the second exit ( in effect you are turning left ).

Keep driving perhaps around 2 KM over numerous speed bumps.

The end of the road you are now driving on will eventually reach a dead end at a wadi crossing.

Just prior to this dead end turn right. The Guest House is about 75 meters on your right hand side. You will see a Nomad Tours car parked outside
 
Towards Dubai

Drive until you pass the Grand Mosque on your left hand side.

Turn off at the roundabout and take the 1st exit ( in effect you are turning right ).

Go to the next roundabout and take the second exit ( in effect you are turning left).

Keep driving perhaps around 2 KM over numerous speed bumps.

The end of the road you are now driving on will eventually reach a dead end at a wadi crossing.
